You're at the personal site of Andrew Griffiths; a freelance musical director, musician and composer
Andrew has nearly ten years of experience working in the musical theatre, firstly as repetiteur and subsequently as musical director. His work on a recent production of Sondheim's Sweeney Todd was described as "outstanding" by the local press, and has now started to work with professional productions.
Andrew is also a composer, and has had work performed by the BBC Singers, Apollo Saxophone Quartet, and was commissioned to write a piece for the opening of the new Oxford Road Wing of the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, where it was performed by the RNCM Concert Orchestra.

Andrew is currently associate conductor and playing keyboards on the UK and Ireland tour of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Evita. Featuring some of the biggest hit songs ever written, including "Don't Cry For Me Argentina", "On This Night Of A Thousand Stars", and "Another Suitcase In Another Hall" the show was made into an oscar-winning film starring Madonna and Antonio Banderas, and is now, once again, the theatrical event of the year, starring Rachael Wooding in the title role, and Seamus Cullen as Che.
