You are at the personal site of Andrew Griffiths; a freelance musical director, musician and composer.
Andrew has nearly ten years of experience working in the musical theatre, firstly as repetiteur and subsequently as musical director. His work on a recent production of Sondheim's Sweeney Todd was described as "outstanding" by the local press, and now works on touring productions.
Andrew is also a composer, and has had work performed in workshop by the BBC Singers, Apollo Saxophone Quartet, and was commissioned to write a piece for the opening of the new Oxford Road Wing of the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, where it was performed by the RNCM Concert Orchestra.
Andrew is playing keyboards over Christmas for Bill Kenwright's production of Scrooge, starring Tommy Steele. Scrooge runs until January 14th, including a four-week run at The Lowry in Salford.
