Welcome!

You're at the personal site of Andrew Griffiths; a musical director/composer based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

Andrew has seven years of experience working in music theatre, and more recently started work as a musical director. His work on a production of Sondheim's Sweeney Todd this year was described as "outstanding" by the local press, and has now moved into a professional career with UK Productions as Assistant Musical Director on their new production of South Pacific.

Andrew is also a composer, and has had work performed by the BBC Singers, Apollo Saxophone Quartet, and was commissioned to write a piece for the opening of the new Oxford Road Wing of the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, where it was performed by the RNCM Concert Orchestra.

Current Projects

Andrew is Assistant Musical Director on the current UK Tour of Rodgers' and Hammerstein's South Pacific.

This new, lavish production stars Dave Willets (Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera) and Helena Blackman (BBC's How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?) and runs until July 2008.
